Nice! I ended up getting the 24-120 for my D3. Saving away the pennies for the delicious new lenses (maybe the new T/S one since I do photography of the wife’s cross stitch designs)

Judging from the bulbous front element, I think so. I got to play with a (whole) one at MacWorld. Very nice lens.

The problem is when you have 30 books that pique your interest I always have more books on my wishlist than what is good for me.

A lot of companies use written works to sublty promote their own (or others)products.

I personally find it distasteful. If they are going to promote products instead of providing information then they should clearly state it on the book. Something like “Brought to you By Photoworkshop.com and Cannon”.

At least that way you expect it when you purchase the book.

Often the price of the book determines whether we’ll buy it or not.

But the fact that we are even contemplating buying it, bespeaks that it piques something within us.

So why not buy it, since the price of so many books is less than a meal for two at any restaurant.
